Rehydration formula for young calves, kids, foals and lambs. This livestock electrolyte and nutritional supplement provides a balanced blend of electrolytes, amino acids, and dextrose specifically formulated for young animals.

Active Ingredients

Dextrose, sodium acetate, potassium chloride, glycine, sodium citrate, sodium chloride.

Dosage & Administration

• Calves and foals:

  • Give 2 quarts of Hydra-Lyte solution twice daily for the first two days.

  • Continue feeding milk or milk replacer as usual; offer Hydra-Lyte as additional feedings.

  • If milk is refused, feed Hydra-Lyte alone and resume milk at the next feeding.

  • On days 3 and 4, feed 1 quart Hydra-Lyte mixed with 1 quart milk or milk replacer twice daily.

• Lambs and kids:

  • Feed approximately ¼ of the calf/foal dose.

Most animals may return to normal feeding on day 5. If needed, treatment may continue through days 5–7.
