For the treatment of disease in beef cattle, non-lactating dairy cattle, calves, including pre-ruminating (veal) calves and swine.
Its high cure rate and longer duration (3 1/2-4 days) make it ideal for treatment of pneumonia, shipping fever, pinkeye, wounds, infections, footrot or when herd medicating is required to eliminate or minimize an expected outbreak of disease.
Precautions: Exceeding the highest recommended level of drug per lb of body weight per day, administering more than the recommended number of treatments, and/or exceeding 10mL subcutaneously per injection site in adult beef and dairy cattle, and 5mL intramuscularly per injection site in adult swine, may result in antibiotic residues beyond the withdrawal period.
Warnings: Discontinue treatment at least 28 days prior to slaughter or cattle and swine. Milk taken from animals during treatment and for 96 hours after the last treatment must not be used for food.
